Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section – The Florida Bar
The Professionalism & Ethics Committee addresses issues of attorney ethics, professional responsibility, and professionalism as they affect real property, probate, and trust law practice in Florida. Through its work, the Committee supports high standards of conduct and thoughtful engagement with ethical challenges faced by practitioners in a changing legal landscape.
Key areas of focus include:
· Reviewing and proposing amendments to the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar
· Interpreting and applying the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct and ACTEC Commentaries to Florida practice
· Developing CLE programs and written resources to support ethical awareness and compliance
· Monitoring key developments – technological, regulatory, or otherwise – that impact RPPTL professionals
The Committee welcomes input from members regarding topics of interest or emerging issues we should explore. We encourage all interested section members to attend meetings, contribute to subcommittees, or participate in projects aligned with our mission.
