In Saadeh v. Connors, No. 4D13-4831 (Fla. 4th DCA June 24, 2015), the Fourth District Court of Appeal reversed the entry of summary judgment in favor of the attorney for an emergency temporary guardian sued by the ward for professional negligence.
At the trial court level, the guardian’s attorney successfully argued that because there was no privity of contract between her and the ward, she owed no duty directly to the ward.
